Good value overall

I was looking for some blue light blocking glasses and found Vint and York during their holiday sale. I got a decent discount, which made the price much more appealing. Are their frames actually made of Italian acetate? Or is that just marketing fluff?

From what I understand, a lot of their acetate frames are indeed made with Italian acetate. You can usually feel the quality difference compared to cheaper plastics.

I think some of their collections explicitly mention Italian acetate. It's not all their frames, but a good chunk of them are, especially the higher-end looking ones.

It was pretty straightforward for me. I just initiated the return online and got a shipping label. They processed the refund within a week or so after they received them. Just make sure you're within the return window.

Nah, they don't directly accept insurance. You usually have to pay upfront and then submit the receipt to your insurance for reimbursement. That's what I did with my VSP.

They're more of an out-of-network provider, so you gotta do the paperwork yourself if you want to get reimbursed. Check your plan for how that works.
